Whitmore Community Center All-You-Can-Eat Monthly Breakfast
Join us for the monthly All-You-Can-Eat Breakfast hosted by the Whitmore Community Center on the second Sunday of every month, from 8am - 11am. An all volunteer staff will be serving a buffet style country breakfast with all of your favorite fixins. Just $3 for kids and $8 for adults for your choice of scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, biscuits & sausage gravy, bacon, sausage links, pancakes and fresh fruit. We'll also have freshly brewed coffee, fruit juices and water. Don't forget to grab a few raffle tickets for one of those delicious pies! All proceeds benefit the Whitmore Community Center.

Botanical Exploration of Mt. Eddy and Caldwell Lakes
Experience Mt. Eddy's unique plants and magnificent views as we botanize from the PCT trailhead to the summit. The tallest peak in the Klamaths features high-elevation serpentine habitat that's a mecca for botany enthusiasts.On Sunday we'll explore adjacent China Mountain and the source of Parks Creek by hiking on the quieter, recently improved Caldwell Lakes trail. Includes two nights lodging at Flowing Waters Retreat Center or you may opt for the commuter tuition.

Graeagle Arts and Crafts Fair
This year marks the 47th year for the Graeagle Arts and Crafts Fair. There will be 180 booths featuring quality , handmade crafts and fine art by the exhibitors. Nothing is imported, and , while your at the fair , you can relax to the sounds of live music , and enjoy and assortment of food and beverages at the nearby specialty booths. Be sure to mark your calendars , and join us at the Great American Craft Fairs.

Annual Lumberjack Fiesta
The Fiesta provides a fun filled weekend for the whole family. Three days of competitions ensue with a variety of events such as horseshoes, logging, watermelon eating, and dancing. The Li'l Logger and Miss Fiesta contests kick of the event Friday Night. Other attractions of the event include music, water slides, vendors, a softball tournament, food, ice cold beer, and much more fun in the sun. The Lumberjack Fiesta has something for all ages! Plus, don’t forget the parade on Saturday!

2nd Annual Poker Paddle Run
Paddlers (kayak, canoe, SUP) *NMV (Non-Motorized Vessels only) This is a five-card poker run on the water from Plumas Pines Resort, southerly along Lake Almanor's west shore, and return. Choose from either a 4-mile or a 9-mile round-trip! So what's a Poker Run? Paddlers will make 5 shore stops at 3 different locations to pick up 5 poker cards, which make up the poker hand. First and second place prizes awarded to the paddlers with the best poker hand. Bring your own non-motorized vessel (NMV) and safety equipment to the starting/finish line at the Plumas Pines Resort (on the shore behind the restaurant). Equipment is also available for rent in our area. Why travel to Lake Almanor? Lake Almanor is the 8th largest reservoir in California and has warm summer water and stunning forest and mountain-top views, including Mt. Lassen and Dyer Mountain.
