Join us for the 2024 Mount Shasta 4th of July Walk/Run! Our classic races include: - 2 Mile -Youth Race. This event is designed for younger runners under 18 years old. Ribbons are presented to the top three finishers in each division. All finishers receive medals.
- 2 Mile Fun Walk -
This is our most popular event. The walk provides fun and excitement for everyone in the family with entertainment along the route.
- 5 Mile Race -
Close to 1,000 runners compete over a fairly flat course with an uphill climb on the final mile. Awards are presented to the top three finishers in each division. This is a USATF certified course (#CA19031RS).
The 4th of July Walk/Run event fulfills a role as a primary fundraiser within the community for a variety of youth and community groups, community enhancement projects, and the organization who hosts the event, SORA. Your entry in the event makes everything possible.
